My great-great grandparents’ 60th wedding anniversary in 1911. The car is a McLaughlin, the forerunner of the Buick car. They are in the back and in the front is his sister and her brother, also married.

About 1912 “The Four Dancing Lubin’s” Actually there were five Salsburg siblings who sang and danced in this traveling Vaudeville act. The fifth was a stand-in (substitute) sister, Fan. Pictured here are brothers Lou (Left), Ray (Right), and sisters Lil (Left) and Bess (Right). Bess, our maternal grandmother, married our grandfather, Wm E Ashbolt (Papa). They had two daughters, Phyllis - DOB 12/7/1914 (my mother) and Alvira Ruth Born 1917. Bess died in the flu epidemic in October, 1918 at the age of 24. Papa re-married Katheryn Gertrude Allen, a WWI Red Cross Army (Nurse) veteran who served in France. They had two sons, William A Ashbolt and Allen David Ashbolt.

October 19/1884.. Cassidy’s 1st BIRTHDAY. He was Baptized in church that morning; followed by champagne brunch at our home; with several dozen folks in attendance.This was after guests left; Cassidy is still in his lil red velvet suit that was gift from GG Hilda & Mommy is wearing a satin robe, also a heritage gift ; from ( my Grandmother, Hilda 💜

Alva Woods on the right front row. b 1884 d 1947. This picture was taken in Salt Lake City. Probably before 1912 when he married Minnie E. Dustman. His inscription on the reverse reads: “This is when we were seeing Salt Lake City. That is sure a fine city. We had such a nice time there.”

Marvel Wood, our mother’s first cousin, in a photo taken on New Year’s Day in 1900. She probably got the doll for Christmas, 1899. She died in 1943, at the age of 48. She was married but had no children. Her mother, Ida Belle Howard Wood, was our grandfather’s older sister. She sent the doll to our mother, Alice LeFern Howard Minten, her niece, for safe keeping in March of 1944, when Janie Minten was just a month old. We still have the German, porcelain bisque doll in our possession.

This photo was found in my dads collection. I think it might be Elizabeth Milligan my 2x Great Grandmother d. 1931 due facial similarities with my aunt Betty and my Grandmother. It is on postcard format that was on other photos taken around this time. Also, my Great Grandmother died in 1901 so unlikely to be her as she was young when she died and this lady is elderly.
