To get started, all you need is your phone, your negatives, and a bright backlight source. Don't worry - there's no reason for any fancy equipment such as a light table. Any bright light source will do. Simply open up a white screen on your computer or tablet. We've got you covered.

Once the backlight is set, hold your film between the camera and the backlight and prepare to scan the image. Press the capture button and watch as the app reverts the image from a negative to a negative so you can see the full color in the image.

For improved comfort, you can use the voice command option to scan your film. Instead of pressing the capture button while holding your phone in one hand and film in the other, hit the voice command button in the bottom left corner. All it takes is a simple "Go!" to scan each photo.
