This is the summer stock barn theater, where performers largely from the Iona Players put on productions during the summer of 1963 in Mahopac, NY. Some of the plays included Bye, Bye Birdie, West Side Story, Oklahoma, and Guys and Dolls. I built sets and was the stage manager for the plays. Some of the players resented my strict demands. My intentions were good. I became good friends with Tammy Bogdanovich, who designed many of the sets. I worked with her during the day to build the sets, helped by her friend Estalita. During the summer I also became good friends with John Orlando, who was the musical director and brilliant pianist during the performances.
